HI There,
I have read on forums that it is best to book air tickets close to flying - This goes against every cell in my body that wants to be prepared and have flights organised in advance. When I look on Ctrip at flights that are more than 3 weeks away it says ';The following information is for reference only. Actual time and pricing has yet to be determined by the airlines. Please check again closer to the departure date.';
I%26#39;m prepared to pay a little extra to book tickets in advance but am unsure whether this means that its useless booking as times and coss may change. I%26#39;ve also looked at other websights which dont have the same warning so I%26#39;m confused.
Any Help would be great!
Booking Air Flights
I guess it means that the schedule may change as it is too early. If you are stessed and don%26#39;t mind paying more, book 2 weeks in advance. But if you check c-trip you can see that there are plenty of flight available even the day prior to the flight.
Booking Air Flights
If you said 3 months I%26#39;d understand, but 3 weeks is usually not a problem. what route are you looking at? Why not book on the other website- elong.net or 9588.com
By all means check out www.yoee.com, www.elong.net and www.ticket.9588.com among others. I have used both ctrip and elong successfully. I too am surprised at three weeks they would not quote a price or flight. Must be a screwy situation or maybe the wrong inputs.
