Beijing Grand Hyatt

Can anyone who has stayed here make recommendations about the restaurants in the hotel, there are so many?! Thanks!

Beijing Grand Hyatt

Eh... Beijing has plenty of good restaurants. No need to limit yourself to the ones in your hotel.

That said, I%26#39;ve heard that the Grand Cafe%26#39;s buffet is good.

Beijing Grand Hyatt

Hyatt hotel is a nice one while the building hrer is alittle old

wny not try Sofit or other good hotels?

The Grand Hyatt is an over-priced hotel. Try the Regent just about a 10 minute walk from the Grand Hyatt. The restaurants in the Grand Hyatt are also over-priced. Lots of people talk about Made in China, but I don%26#39;t think that the food there is that good. The buffet is fine, but it is just like any other buffet in any other hotels.

Other than breakfast, I don%26#39;t recommend eating at the hotel restaurants. nothing pecial anbd overly expensive for this market. Walk away from the hotel for a few streets, go into any place that looks busy with locals (they know best) and you will eat a good meal for about $5 including beer (they all have menus in english or with pictures - even small places)

Unlike what another poster said aboven this hotel is not old. It is luxurious and quite new. I was there last year.

This question is misleading. It%26#39;s posted in the Xi%26#39;an forum but apparently asking about a hotel in Beijing.

Yes, I%26#39;m afraid I got my Beijing and Xian forums mixed-up.
