We are planning a China trip, either end of September or end of October. We hope to go Beijing-Xian-Huanglong-Jiuzhaigou-Chengdu-Guilin-Yangshuo-Shanghai. We prefer not to have to deal with big crowds, On the other hand, Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong may be too cold end of October. We are also concerned about getting domestic train/air tickets during busy travel months. We welcome any comments.

The 2nd half of October is actually ultra-peak season for Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong due to the autumn colours, so take that into consideration as well.
