Guilin/Yangshuo/Longsheng area

concerned about the weather as photography is a primary interest.

also wondering about personal security if wondering alone in isolated areas.

we have just returned and had lilly lu as our guide ,,,, we felt safe , were told by several people to be aware of pickpockets . we took loads of photos and even on the misty days have given grest effects . but we didnt go off alone , the areas you mention cover a lot of territory . how do you plan to travel between places?

and are planning to spend 6 nts between longsheng and yanshuo.

can you tell us what the roads between the towns were like for night driving?

we were their for 4 days , the roads are in reasononable condition , but are fairly slow on the way to longsheng as you wind up the hills/mountains ... are you planning to hire taxis or organize a driver/car for your travels ?

i am beginning to understand that it will be quite warm and humid in the latter part of may when we will be there.

but if there is minimum rain then it will be a fair trade
