Great Wall Tours - Which is best?

We want to do a tour to the Great Wall but would like to get there earlier than normal to try and see some of it without the crowds. Is there a recommended tour or private car or similar which starts earlier than the other tours? Most we have found dont get to the wall until 10am?

Try cycle china (www.cyclechina.com). They don%26#39;t go to touristy places and we did a trip with them last year and until we got to the restored wall we only came across 2 other people in two days! Well worth it.

There are some wild great wall in beijing. you can do camping there.

Hire your own taxi for about 500 Yuan and go on the Jinshanling-Simatai hike of 10K. Few people bothering you. Check the search function for many posts on this great experience.

Yeah, there are many sites of Great Wall in Beijing in deed as recommended in previous replies.However the best site where I go often is called ';Jiankou';, which is a wild site of Great Wall and has not been reconstructed. Few forigeners go there.

Simata Hiking is certainly a good place as well.
