I will be reaching Macau by a late flight at around 10pm from Hangzhou an will want to proceed to Macau in the night itself. Can anyone please suggest ways to reach macau in the night time .. what options do I have

I presume you mean that you%26#39;ll be arriving at Shenzhen airport around 2200 and want to move on to Macau that very same night. Otherwise your question is confusing.

I think you might be out of luck. The ferry (refer to zhuhai.expat9.com/handbook/shenzhen-to-zhuhai and http://www.turbojetseaexpress.com/eng/schedule/prd_3.html) and bus services for Shenzhen -- Zhuhai/Macau all terminate before your flight landing time. Zhuhai is on the border with Macau, in case you%26#39;re wondering.

I once had a flight get in late and had to get a ferry to Hong Kong, then transfer to a Macau ferry there - including waiting time it took me more than 3 hours and cost about HK$400 total. If I didn%26#39;t have my own bed to look forward to at the end, I would probably just have stayed in SZ for the night and caught the first ferry out in the morning.

I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll be able to find a taxi driver to drive you all the way from Shenzhen airport to Zhuhai. It would cost a fortune, plus it mightn%26#39;t be safe.

If you arrive at 2200 then I don%26#39;t see you arriving in Macau until the wee hours of the next morning.

If you do go via Hong Kong, you would be arriving in Sheung Wan (Macau ferry terminal) around 0030-0100 (assuming you get through LoWu immigration quick). Then there are ferries throughout the night to Macau. Lo Wu doesn%26#39;t have a 24 hour border though, so if your flight is delayed you would need to go through Lok Ma Chau-Huanggang.

How far is the ferry terminal in Shenzhen from the Boan Airport ? how much time would that require me to get there ? where would i need to cross the border into HK and would that be a long procedure ?

I guess I might have to disappoint my firends on that Macau visit for one night before we all leave back for India.

at that time of the night the Shekou ferry terminal should not be more than 20-30 mins by cab from SHenzhen airport..

Better to stay in Shekou/Nanshan district in Shenzhen for the night..(you will find some good hotels at good prices..)%26amp; catch the first ferry out at 8ish..You will be in Macau by 10:30 a.m
