weather?

I will be going on a tour beginning of May, and have been watching the weather. I have downloaded a little icon on my desktop that shows me the weather and tempurature of the cities that I will be visiting. It seems lately it is hot and sunny in Hong Kong and Shanghai, 2 of the cities I will be visiting, but it keeps showing cool 10C and rainy in Beijing??? Can someone confirm that that weather has not been cool and wet?

Thanks

Colleen

weather?

It might%26#39;ve been sunny here in Shanghai but I wouldn%26#39;t say that it%26#39;s hot! A lot of strong winds in the past few days so it could get rather cold. Bring a good windbreaker.

Hong Kong shows today 24C. I will be going to Guangzhou first, so will the weather be similar to Hong Kong?

It was a little cool and rainly the last few days, but predictions are for a warmer and sunnier week. Also, I think its still a little early to judge by the current weather--The weather in Beijing is likely to get warmer in the next few weeks and April and May are not usually all that rainy.

Then again, it%26#39;s weather--you never really know!

I am in Beijing now. I walked to starbucks this morning just wearing a shirt and I was sweating. you can almost see the sun through the pollution.

OMG...

You and Ellyse jump on me for not Googling a question, then you ask a question like this? haha.

Try weather.com

Type in the city you need.

weather.com/outlook/鈥?/a>

You%26#39;re welcome.

haha

The US-based weather sites, Accuweather, msn, weather.com, etc., sometimes can be way off. I am not sure why, but this turns up maybe 5% of the time. It has not been hot in Shanghai at all, as 30 and above is approaching hot to me.

Best bet, check several sites if the weather seems a bit screwy. Last month, I saw Lijiang was way over 30C. Of course, that was not true.

I show US based weather.com and UK based http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather show the exact same forecast.

Okay Ro....got the point. Ha-ha.

I only asked because the icon that I mentioned that we have on our desktop, IS from weather.com but it didn%26#39;t seen to make sense. It showed that is was very cold in Beijing, at one point it said 10C and rainy, during the day, and on this site I had been reading that it was warm and sunny. I just wanted to get a first hand observation.....from the people that live there.

First hand information about weather in Beijing.

JPDeM says he wear a T-shirt today.

In fact, all our visitors from US MEMC wear no sleeve

T-shirt though it is raining in Beijing at a temperature of 17 / 11掳C

I myself wear a shirt with a pullover.

In May the weather would be very good. The best season in Beijing. It is neither hot nor windy.

No worry about dust storm.

It would rain but it turn clear very quickly and shiny day comes back.

Beijing has a clear 4 seasons.
