Panorama Hotel by Rhombus
Of course I read the review there. but I was thinking the small number of review for Panorama hotel is because it is still new. any other opinion?
Stayed at both hotels and here are my comments:
Panorama Hotel
Kowloon side.
Opened recently so it is clean and fresh.
Rooms are average sized.
Has twin rooms.
Corner bedroom layout seems a bit bigger but actually the same.
Standard and superior are basically same sq.area and I didn%26#39;t see what the difference was except the floor assignment.
No breakfast included with rates.
MTR entrance just a few meters away from hotel front but you must walk a bit to get to MAIN mtr (where the train actually is).
Bit of a walk to Nathan Road.
7-11 near.
Holiday Inn Express
Hong Kong side.
A few years open but so far I have gotten clean rooms at the time of check inn.
Rooms are small.
They have rooms which have twin beds plus sleeper sofa.
Breakfast for maximum 3 persons included --- very BASIC.
Just across is Times Square Mall.
MTR entrance inside Times Square Mall but a bit of a walk again to MAIN mtr.
*Panorama has slightly bigger rooms compared to HIE.
Do you think the silver and gold rooms are not much of a difference except for pricing? Does the silver room also have the view of the harbor?
Thanks Mai for the comparison. I am also considering trying Panorama Hotel because my friend said it looks nice and has many restaurants within the area.
My travel agent said I might not like Holiday Inn Express since I am more partial to Kowloon side and yes, rooms in Panorama Hotel are bigger.
