In the UK it%26#39;s fine, in fact it%26#39;s encouraged, under 16%26#39;s go free.
I have read on the Hong Kong Jockey Club website that it%26#39;s over 18%26#39;s only. Is this correct for the whole course or just certain enclosures? Does this apply to both Sha Tin and Happy Valley?
We would love to go horse racing but couldn%26#39;t if we weren%26#39;t able to take the children.
Taking children to the horse races.
well children are allowed in certain areas only.
Taking children to the horse races.
i thought, effectively, children were not allowed at all.
i think in the eating areas but not in the betting areas. but then again, why would you bring your children to the races if they can%26#39;t see what the races are all about eh?
Thanks for the replies although I don%26#39;t think I%26#39;m sure what the right answer is. I will continue to research and maybe email the HKJC.
It has been in the papers recently. Even the owners can%26#39;t bring their children to the racetrack. Don%26#39;t bother. Yes, it is silly, but that is the way it is. At least it is not Dubai (look it up if you don%26#39;t know what i mean).
I%26#39;ve been to Dubai and they have a good racing scene. What%26#39;s the issue with Dubai, just curious.
