Some Solo Travel Questions

Hello everyone:

I am planning to travel solo Hong Kong from May 18 to May 26. I%26#39;ve always wanted to go to Hong Kong, so I am very excited. That being said, I have a couple of questions.

1) I don%26#39;t know anybody in Hong Kong. Where is the best place to meet people around my age (18 - 25ish)? Will I meet people in a guesthouse?

2) What is the best and cheapest way to get from Chep Lap Kok airport to Kowloon? My flight gets in close to midnight, so I don%26#39;t know if that affects anything.

3) Where is the best bars/ nightspot area for people in my age bracket?

Any other tips/ things I should know as a young solo traveler?

Thanks so much!

Ryan

Some Solo Travel Questions

Any safety concerns other than the usual common sense?

I%26#39;m a 32 year old female and I feel safer living in HK than anywhere else in the world.

I don%26#39;t party late at night much but when I lived in central I was always happy to walk home alone at any time.

The Mong Kok area does require more common sense and caution however because there are always alot of people about and there are lots of lights it always feels fine there too.
