The Jade Garden is quite good. There%26#39;re 2 in Causeway Bay, but the one near the Causeway Bay Plaza (463 Lockhard Road, tel 2573-9339) is better than the one across from Lee Theater on Hysan Road. They serve dimsum throughout the week during lunch time. I%26#39;m not sure of the exact time but I think from around 11:30 to 3:00? Yes I believe there%26#39;re English menus.

The restaurants actually open quite early in the morning, usually at around 7 am.

You don%26#39;t need a menu for ordering dim sum. Usually the lady push a dim sum cart and as long as you feel like it, ask the lady to offer you one. In some restaurants they use ordering forms, that is a bit difficult.

If you stay in Hotel L, probably you can go to the restaurants in North Point instead of Causeway Bay. They are cheaper but not necessarily of inferior quality.

Not all dim sum restaurants are opened for breakfasts so lunch is a better time to go. Also, many of the mid to upper range places now have an ordering that has replaced the push carts. Most of the time, those are in Chinese only. Having said that, you should be able to get help from the waiters to decipher the list.

At Causeway Bay, I recommend:

Star of Canton, 18th Floor, Lee Theatre, go early even with a reservation, service so-so but dim sum is quite good

Shark%26#39;s Fin City, 11th Floor, Time Square

Wu Kong, 13th Floor, Times Square, Shanghai style dim sum
