Travel to Guilen & then to Hanoi

Hi,

I am looking at travelling in June/ July. What is the weather like then? What are my options travelling from Changsha to Guilen? How do I travel overland then to Hanoi?

Look on weather.msn.com/region.aspx鈥?/a> and http://www.wunderground.com/global/CI.html for weather data for various locations in China.

Changsha -- Guilin is generally possible by train (7.5-10 hours) and bus (8 hours). No direct flights.

For Guilin -- Hanoi, take a train/bus to Nanning, then another bus (daily early morning departure) to Hanoi.

Thanks for that! What would you recemend as a better way to travel - bus or train %26amp; which is cheaper?

When possible, I always take sleeper trains, especially overnight ones. These are usually the best value-for-money way to travel in mainland China, and generally cheaper than buses.
