I wanted to get the idea of the cost of Taxi from Pudong airport to Central hotel in Nanjing road. We are 4 people with luggages, do you suggest we take a taxi?

We have one luggage each, so 4 middle size bags altogether. We are arriving at 14:20.

Hi the taxi fare from Pudong to Central hotel is about 130RMB,definitely not more than 150Rmb.even if theres a traffic jam.It will run by meter.journey takes about 45 mins.on the average.

The area around People%26#39;s Square and etc is usually suffers from rather heavy traffic, even though it might not be a ';jam'; per se.

Hi slow moving at peak hours sometimes but as long as theres no untoward incidents which may bring the traffic to a %26#39;crawl%26#39; the average time of reaching yr destination should be around 45 mins.Yr arrival time is ok n i dont expect u to be %26#39; stuck in thejam%26#39;as i believe u r flying in by Thai airways.The other option of getting to yr destination is by Maglev train from Pudong to Longyang station(takes about 7 mins for a distance of 30 km)n then transfer to the metroat the adjacent building line 2 which will bring u to Nanjing donglu station.Disembark from here out of the station,yr hotel is just hardly 10mins walk or less.I used to walk fast ,a habit i happily pick up eversince im in Shanghai,just like the local folks here..All in yr journey by Maglev n then metro to yr hotel is about 30 to 45 mins.I normally travel this way but of course its only logical n practical if u r strong guys who can handle the luggage.Maglev costs 50Rmb/person n the metro about 3 Rmb.U can consider this as im definitely not alone traveling this way as i had seen many other people doing the same n im always thrilled whenever i travel on the maglev.The speed is outstanding n exhilarating.
