with the new rulings for visas for china, does anyone know the new prices of tourist visa for shenzhen for australians and which way would be the best to obtain visa, before we leave australia or in hk once there, thank you in advance, all the help would be appreciated. will be in hk in may 08.

Sorry, there is now no special Shenzhen visa; you have to go through the whole rigmarole of getting a full 30 day tourist visa either through the embassy or a consulate in Australia or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong. At the beginning of this month my visa cost RMB300, but I understand costs went up a couple of days later.
