Taxi ride from ferry to casa real hotel

I know from my endless research that Casa Real is very near the ferry terminal.

But NEAR is relative.

My question: would you recommend senior citizens to walk from ferry to casa real considering their age and the luggages they will be bringing?

If we decide to take the TAXI, will the driver take us considering the short distance? How much would the approximate fare be?

Sure you could catch a taxi, but along with nearly every other hotel in town, Casa Real runs a free shuttle bus between its front door and the ferry pier :-)
