Hi I am leaving tomorrow for Hong Kong and will be satying 5 nights. I was wondering if anyone knew of it is worth it to get an Octopus card? or if there are any other discount cards etc that we could use/get?
I live in london Uk and i%26#39;m guessing the Octopus card is something like the Oyster card???

A little like an oyster card but much better.
As well as nearly all transport, it can be used in convenience stores and fast food shops.
If you return after a week, you will pay a HK$7 fee when you get your deposit back.
Highly recommended.

Octopus card does not provide a fare cap as the Oyster card may provide. But do get one at HK$150 each with HK$50 refundable deposit included.
