City Light

After reading someone comment about the city light ';It should be noted that during the week nights the city lights do not all come on for power saving effort.';

It that correct? cos i will be going to shanghi during the week for 4days.

Do you mean street lights, or the Bund%26#39;s lights?

If you come from somewhere like Singapore where the entire city is as brightly lit as daytime even at night, then you%26#39;d find it dark here.

Shanghai is a nicely lighted up city at night as most people take the opportunity to strollalong the streets or in the shopping malls.Its a beautiful city with a lot of buildings lighted up with myriad colours n pattern everynight but as at the bund is concerned where u can see the buildings lighted up over at Pudong n also the bund the lights go off around 1030pm.This is also the case in Nanjing Pedestrian street.but before that it is definitely beautifully lighted up.Apart from some cities like NY or ,Hongkong,i consider Shanghai a well lighted up City.Of course it realy doesnt make sense to light up past midnite right?

The street light would always be on, I guess you are talking about the light inside the commercial building.

I do not know what they meant by but I think it%26#39;s the Bund lights!!
