a day tirp to zuhai from macau

I understand that china visa can be obtained upon arriving at the border gate, how long it would take to process it and how much it will cost?

Any good suggestion for seafood places with reasonable price.

Thank you in advance.

What is your passport nationality? Malaysian?

What%26#39;s your definition of ';reasonable price';?

Yes, i%26#39;m a malaysian passport holder.

Reasonable price says USD30-40 a meal for 2 pax.

From your name, I presume you can read Chinese? I%26#39;ve listed some names and addresses below, the Chinese characters would do you more good than English translations. Have also included the phone number. These recommendations are all well within your price limit.

Any indicative numbers to my queries on the fees to the china visa and how fast it would to process upon the arrival?

Thanks and regards

Up til the beginning of this month, the cost for a 3-day voa for Zhuhai was HK$150, and it took anything from 15 - 90 minutes depending on how many people were there.

I know costs for applying for voa in Shenzhen have increased, but so far haven%26#39;t found anything about Zhuhai, although China visas generally have become more expensive and sometimes more complicated to obtain.

Sorry, I don%26#39;t know. I%26#39;ve never been to Zhuhai nor Macau and I don%26#39;t hold Malaysian passport either.

An expensive meal in Zhuhai would be about 100 (with beer) - at something like the revolving restaurant in the Guangdong Regency. Most good (seafood) restaurants seldom cost more than 50-60 pp. I haven%26#39;t eaten at the fake floating restaurant on YiLI Dao as it doesn%26#39;t have an English menu but it looks fun.

Please note that as from today there are NO visas on arrival for Zhuhai; all must be processed in advance by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macau or the embassy in your home country.

Quickest processing in Macau is 24 hours (RMB/HK$/MOP300), and you need to waste a few hours queuing up both to submit the application and collect the visa, or pay extra for someone else to do it for you.

Thank you very much to you, ellyse and zuhai2007 for all the updated info as given.

This would be my first trip to Macau. if getting China visa is quite time consuming, would you think that spending all 4D/3N solid in Macau is too long of a periad? What else can we do after we spend a day to visit all the tourist attraction places......

Even if you don%26#39;t gamble, there is plenty to do and see (not to mention eat and shop) in Macau for more than a week.

Just slow down to local pace and really look at what interests you, don%26#39;t dash around as if you%26#39;re part of ';Zippy Tours.';

have a look through the macau forum, and check out cn.macautourism.gov.mo
