Radisson New World OR Le Royal Méridien

Hello again,

am having 4 days in Shanghai, had planned to stay at the Radisson New World but have now seen the Le Royal M茅ridien, both similar price both Nanjing Road area, any one any suggestions as the which is the best

Its a difficult one.Both r equally great hotels with the same starrating n facilities.Location is also more or less equally good though i would say the Le Meridien has a better location right at Nanjing pedestrian street right in the middle of all the shopping,food, n happenings.n its nearer to the bund.Location of Radisson is also not bad just near to the People square .Also both hotels offer great views of the Oriental tower n Pudong.Services r the same standard.Only difference is Le Meridien is a relatively new hotel hardly a year old.,n much more modern n new interior.If u cant make up yr mind u can stay 2 nites at each hotel.Y not?I had done this before just for the kick of it.Anyway which is better nobody can really tell cos preferences r individualistics.So really cant put it to vote right?.Enjoy lor,stay at both n decide for yrself.

I have just had 8 nights at Le Royal Meridien and I could not fault it. We stayed in one of the executive club rooms facing the Bund. It costs a little more but well worth it especially the free drinks at night.
